Katy 5K October edition.

10/02/2026

The October Katy 5K is this Sunday, Oct 4! Fingers crossed the rain clears in time — if it's still pouring Sunday morning, the race may have to be cancelled. Stay tuned. The good news: after three days of rain, we're likely to get crisp, fresh air for race day.

Online registration closes **Saturday at 6 PM**. Please register online so you get your bib and an official time.

Katy Free 5K Run partner - Good Times Running Co. was vandalized yesterday, sometime between last night and this morning - this is the store that has always supported the Katy’s running community, this is the store team up with us to host the monthly community Free 5K. They volunteer, setup water, and use their own resources to help the small race organizers. Please show your support to the BEST RUNNING STORE in Katy by stop by. So sad to see this happened.
