Golden Warriors Robotics Clothing Drive! 💜

Golden Warriors Robotics is hosting a clothing drive from October 1 through November 19 to support members of our community in need!

We’re collecting new and gently used clothing and shoes, along with new socks and underwear, to help provide essential items to those who need them most.

📍 Drop-off: Robert Shaw Center, Bay 5
📅 October 1 – November 19

While socks and underwear are among our biggest needs, we welcome all new or gently used clothing and shoes! Every donation makes a difference, and we appreciate your support in helping us give back to our community.

Our recruitment process has officially come to an end!

We started by welcoming interested students at our interest meeting, where they learned more about Golden Warriors Robotics, our team, and what they could get involved in. With over 70 applications submitted, students then went through our application and interview process, where we got to learn more about their interests, experiences, and what they hoped to contribute to the team. From there, students got a closer look at our workshop during our workshop bay tour and learned more about the environment they would be working in. We then held a parent meeting to introduce families to the team, followed by safety training to make sure every new member understood how to work safely in our shop. After completing applications and interviews, our newest members were introduced to all our subteams and began trainings, where they began learning the skills they’ll use throughout the season.

We’re so excited to welcome all of our new members to Golden Warriors Robotics and can’t wait to see everything you accomplish this season!

This past weekend, Golden Warriors’ EveryBot had the opportunity to compete at the off-season competition, Remix 2026!
This was a great milestone for our team, as it was the first time an EveryBot built by us was driven by us at a competition. Although EveryBot didn’t make playoffs, we learned a lot from the experience and are ready to put our new knowledge toward building even greater success.
Thank you to Texas Torque for organizing this event and for being a pivotal part of EveryBot’s journey. We can’t wait to see what we do next!

This past weekend, our bot, Prospector competed at off season competition, The Remix 2026.

We had the opportunity to compete as Alliance 3 alongside T3 Robotics and Robonauts, making it all the way to the finals and finishing as the runner-up alliance. We’re incredibly proud of how our alliance worked together throughout playoffs and grateful for the experience we gained here. This event taught us so much, and we’re excited to take what we learned into the upcoming competition season!

Beyond the competition field, our team also had the opportunity to give back by donating Bed in a Bag kits and LEGO sets to support the community.

Finally, a huge thank you to Texas Torque for hosting, as well as every volunteer and mentor who helped make this event possible. Thank you to everyone who showed up and supported us throughout the weekend, we truly appreciate you!

Introducing Golden Warriors Robotics’ EveryBot!

From the first stages of the build to getting ready for competition, EveryBot has been a journey for our team.

EveryBot has grown alongside our competition robot, giving our members opportunities to build, program, troubleshoot, and teach. Now, it’s taking the next step as we prepare to drive it on the field at Remix!

We’re proud of how far our EveryBot has come and the opportunities it continues to create for our team. We’re excited to keep building, learning, and pushing it even further.

Last Saturday, Golden Warriors Robotics partnered with the nonprofit Mind & Momentum to bring the path of STEM to students and members of our community at Youth Career Night!

Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to meet many visitors at our table, introduce them to FIRST Robotics, and share why STEM continues to play such an important role in our world. We also had the chance to listen to wonderful guest speakers, Dr. Suleman Lalani and Dexter McCoy, and learn from their experiences and perspectives.

Thank you to Mind & Momentum for hosting such a great event and giving us the opportunity to connect with our community!
