Dr. Mamdooh Abdelhameed Abdelmottlep founded the International Police Sciences Association, "IPSA", a non profit association, its main activity field is the police sciences, based in the state of New Jersey, USA. The geographical scope of its activity is all countries of the world; it performs its functions, undertake its competences and achieves its objectives through a Council appointed by the G
eneral Assembly; and its duration is not defined. The association aims to achieve a number of objectives through , for example the following activities: Developing the local, Arabian and international's scientific efforts in the field of developing the police sciences; strengthening the channels of communication between the police thinkers and researchers, in the various branches and fields of the police sciences and other sciences, in order to develop the exchange of thought, and to develop the academic and applied expertise and experiences; urging the intellectuals in the police field, and other areas of scientific knowledge to establish a self-independent knowledge, and to employ the sources of natural and human knowledge related to the police sciences in a mannerleads to the integration of all its axes; studying the security phenomena, through the use of various methods of scientific research, in various police studies; developing the scientific personnel possessing specialized police expertise; providing the academic climate, the possibilities and the appropriate resources to achieve this goal; issuance of periodicals, research and releases that are related to the field and objectives of the association; publishing the scientific police literature; encouraging the participation of members in conferences, seminars, lectures and exhibitions organized by the universities or scientific police research centers, or corresponding bodies interested in police thought; establish a register for experts and thinkers of Police Sciences, and working on providing that register to all members, scientific bodies and police institutions, to enable exchanging the experiences and ideas, in order to serve the development of police sciences; holding of conferences, scientific meetings and giving lectures; providing consultancy in the field of police sciences and encouraging authoring in the field of police sciences.
