Compassion Katy has partnered for the 10th Annual Operation Back 2 School with Katy ISD, and our heart is overflowing with gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love and support.

This is so much more than backpacks and school supplies. It is an opportunity to remind children and families that they are seen, valued, loved, and not alone.

Through the generosity of this amazing community, we were able to distribute more than 1,400 backpacks to families, school administrators at Katy ISDs-20 Title 1 schools, welcome hundreds of volunteers, and most importantly, pray over families as they prepare for a new school year.

Every backpack represents a gift.
Every volunteer represents a willing heart.
Every prayer represents hope.
Every child represents a future worth investing in.

🎒 Preparing for Operation Back 2 School 2026! 📚

We are so grateful for the most amazing volunteers who are working behind the scenes to prepare for the distribution of thousands of school supplies through Compassion Katy’s 2026 School Supply Drive!

Every box packed, every supply organized, and every hour volunteered represents an investment in the students and families of our community.

We couldn’t do this without our incredible volunteers, sponsors, and community partners who continue to show up and make an impact.
