CRyptonite Robotics: FRC Team 624 CRyptonite Robotics is a team from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, TX that competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Visit our website at www.team624.org.

The FIRST program provides an opportunity for high school students to work collaboratively with engineers to design and build sophisticated robots to compete against teams throughout the US and several other countries. The program encourages the development of technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Students will learn to take a complex task and use critical thinking and creativity to o

vercome challenges. Although the team aspires to win a regional competition, the overall goal is student learning, growth, leadership, and for students to develop a passion for science. Many students join the team with little or no knowledge of how to build a robot or to use tools. Students leave the program with a better foundation of teamwork, project management, and leadership.
