Meet Steve and Vickey Mimms, the proud owners of Iron Creek Ranch. They raise exceptional cattle and are always eager to lend a hand in any way they can. Recently, Steve was at Graham Land and Cattle helping weigh in the bulls, and he’s also volunteered to serve on the Genetic Edge Sale committee to help ensure the sale’s success for years to come.

Meet Don Huber and Brett Swango of SH2 Cattle Co from the great state of Florida. I had the chance to speak in depth with Brett about the ranch and their vision, and these gentlemen truly understand the value of Red Brangus in Florida’s tropical climate—they’re all in. With a 12,000-square-foot sale barn, working pens, and an in-house lab already in place, their vision is coming to life. The International Red Brangus Breeders Association and SH2 know Florida is the largest untapped market in the U.S. and are working hard to introduce Red Brangus to the area. We would love to see the Seminole Nation run Red Brangus bulls, with 65 ready by 10/31/2026 for fall breeding. If you’re in Florida and in the market for Red Brangus, give Brett Swango a call.

Meet the new owners of the historic Cox Excalibur Brangus/Brangusworld: Conner, Cody, Cayla, and Courtney. These remarkable kids have stepped up in true Cox fashion after the loss of their father. We’re thrilled to have them as breeders, and it’s incredible how quickly they’ve adapted to running the ranch. Thanks for taking the reins and keeping Red Brangus thriving in Weimar, TX, and beyond.
