Save the date for the ISA Brazos Section as they host the 44th Annual Automation Expo in Lake Jackson, Texas next May!

For 44 amazing years they've been hosting this great way to network with their representatives and manufacturers, to see the latest in instrumentation, analyzer and process control technology! 🤝

Keynote Topic Title: Embracing the Digital Evolution in Process Instrumentation: Opportunities, Risks, and the Imperative of Cybersecurity.

Abstract:
Over the past three decades, the oil, gas, chemical, and manufacturing industries have undergone a profound transformation, driven by the adoption of digital technologies in process instrumentation, smart positioners, valves, automation, and control systems. This shift has delivered unprecedented efficiency, precision, and connectivity, enabling smarter operations and real-time decision-making. However, as we move toward fully digital ecosystems—where switched networks extend to the instrument and positioner level—these advancements also introduce new risks, particularly in cybersecurity.

This cause holds a deeply personal meaning for us. We are walking in memory of a beloved child—the son of one of our internal member—whose life was tragically cut short by a brain tumor. In his honor, we are proud to support his legacy and continue his light.
