🎄✨ The Joy of Giving Christmas Celebration is back! ✨🎄

NiJaes Makes Ways is excited to host our 6th Annual Joy of Giving Christmas Celebration on November 21st, a special day dedicated to giving, celebrating, and spreading Christmas joy throughout our community.

Guests will enjoy a catered meal, toys(1 per child present), raffle giveaways, unlimited shopping with a custom shopping bag, and access to wellness and community resources while supplies last.

This is a FREE community event! Registration is encouraged to help us properly prepare for the number of guests we will be serving, but walk-ins are welcome. Please scan the QR code on the flyer or click the registration link below to reserve your spot.

- Earlier this year, NiJaes Makes Ways awarded our 2nd Inspire For Change Scholarship for $2500 to Zaria Cook, who will be attending Texas Southern University this fall. It's because of your generous donations that we are able to assist underserved students with their education pursuits. - Every year NiJaes Makes Ways hosts an annual luncheon for our members to provide a recap of the year, current fundraising updates, calendar of events and strategize ideas to continue to provide service to those who are less fortunate. After the meeting, we invited some of our dedicated volunteers to break bread with us and to show appreciation to them.

- NiJaes Makes Ways was on the move! Last Wednesday, I picked up clothes from our collaborative partner Solid Rock Baptist Church for our Joy of Giving Christmas Give-a-Way in December and delivered clothes and provided Goody Bags for the homeless to our new collaborative partner Tyrone Evans and his Net Works non-profit. Then on Thursday, we provided a $250 Walmart gift card to a resident of Pine Terrace Apartments in which 20 units were damaged due to an arson fire. There are plans to assist more of their residents.
