The KoMet Volleyball Advisory Board is dedicated to promoting the continued growth and development of volleyball in the Kasson-Mantorville community by operating the KoMet Volleyball JO program and by functioning as the Booster Club for the KoMet Volleyball 7th - 12th grade school-based program. For General Contacts, Praises, comments and concerns can be communicated to the KoMet Volleyball club d

irectors at [email protected] or the KVBC Board at [email protected] Submissions must include your name and a valid return email address. The KoMet Volleyball Booster Club supports the school-based volleyball program with revenue earned primarily through these methods:

1) Operating the annual KoMet Krunch JO Volleyball tournament: This tournament is the top source of revenue for the booster club. The revenue earned is used by the booster club to support all levels of volleyball in Kasson-Mantorville, and each year many of the 7-12 grade players and their families volunteer their time to help put on this tournament.

2) KoMet Summer Volleyball Camps: Each summer the KoMet Volleyball Program hosts summer camps for kids in grades 3 – 12. The money raised by these camps goes to the booster club which uses it to support the program. Since this is a good fundraiser for our program, many of the older players volunteer their time to help coach the younger kids in their camps.

3) Clothing sales: For a couple of weeks each spring we partner with Adidas and BIG Athletics to provide an online clothing store. Players and families can purchase KoMet volleyball gear from this store at a discount and a portion of the proceeds come back to the program. There are items available that most volleyball players need to buy at the beginning of each season like shoes, active ankles, and knee pads, and it makes sense to buy those items through the online store since they are at discounted prices and since it benefits the program. There is also other cool gear customized for KoMet Volleyball like t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, and backpacks. After the store closes and everything has shipped, the booster club receives a check from BIG Athletics for 10% of the proceeds. Each year, the KoMet Volleyball Booster Club provides funds to help cover many needs such as:

Additional Middle School Coach and Assistant Varsity Coaches
New Equipment, New Ball Carts, Ball Bags, Antennas
Coaching needs such as a big rolling whiteboard for varsity practices
Entry fees for Varsity summer tournaments (All returning varsity players invited)
Personalized gear for Varsity and JV players. Coaches meals for away games and Friday evening meals for Varsity while at overnight tournaments
Hotel Expenses for Varsity overnight tournaments
Parent’s Night gifts and reception
Food for Tailgate Party
Marketing / Printing expenses for posters, schedules, flyers, etc.. The KoMet Volleyball Advisory Board is currently made up of the following members:
