Hey friends!
If you didn’t know, we’re the social service that helps catch families before they become homeless.
We’ve had another incredibly productive month serving our community! Our free food, feminine hygiene, and family hygiene cabinet has stayed stocked. We’ve helped families keep their vehicles running so they can get to work, provided hundreds of clothing items for people experiencing homelessness, and even squeezed in some farm chores for an elderly client who needed a hand.
As the month comes to an end, we’re only about $1,600 short of covering our monthly bills, and I know our community can come together and close that gap
What would make an even bigger difference is monthly support. If just a couple thousand people gave $10–$20 a month, our entire program could be funded—and we could spend less time worrying about keeping the doors open and more time helping families stay stable and independent.

🎂 **Today is Sarah’s 7th birthday, and her family could really use our help.** ❤️

Sarah and her family are currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House while she receives critical medical care Mayo Clinic. This family is living in poverty, with virtually every resource they have going toward caring for Sarah and getting through this incredibly difficult time.

Now, both of their vehicles need repairs—including **tires, a battery, a power steering pump, and other needed work.**

That should cover most of what we need to get these vehicles safely back on the road and take one major worry off this family's shoulders so they can focus on what matters most: **their daughter.**

When you can't reach me on the phone all day ... I'm usually neck deep in work and can't be 2 places at once unfortunately. But we keep serving anyway at nonprofitwrench.org

When people say we're out here doing the most good, they mean it. But we can't do it without community support. Theres a long list of people waiting for help, but we need funding to serve them. This week we've only been able to raise about $110 in donations, not even enough to run the shop for 1 day. So please please consider supporting us and getting involved at nonprofitwrench.org
Last week we got to deliver some awesome donated Jimmy John's meals after hours to area homeless at The Landing and at the Salvation Army! Cleared out a contentious bike path for the community, but not before I got burned by poison parsnip. We got tools for a DIY'er doing her own brakes, fixing up and donating a vehicle to a local homeless person, and so much more! We're always serving!

An interesting need this week. This beautiful soul was trapped in an apartment when the care taker fell through. A very worried mom asked us to step in to help.
People always say, you're the guy who fixes cars! But we're so much more! We're a social service of many talents, filling a wide variety of needs.

Non-Profit Wrench is looking for a dependable volunteer to help support our mission of keeping local families safe, mobile, and independent.

Commitment:
🕘 2–3 days per week at our shop in SE Rochester
⏱️ Approximately 8–15 hours per week

This opportunity is a great fit for:

-Recent retirees with administrative experience
-Persons looking to build their resume and gain experience
-Anyone who enjoys organization and wants to make a real difference in the community
-Anyone in recovery
-Handy-capable person's looking to get involved
-Persons focusing on recovery

Responsibilities may include:
✅ Reviewing client applications
✅ Contacting clients and following up on requests
✅ Coordinating volunteers and scheduling
✅ Assisting the Executive Director
✅ General office and administrative support
