Join our team as a Fire & Life Safety Inspector/Firefighter!

In this unique dual-role position, you'll conduct fire and life safety inspections, enforce and interpret fire and building codes, support public education and fire prevention efforts, perform post-fire safety evaluations, and provide Firefighter/Driver-Operator support to the Alpha Fire Company.

Applications are due June 21, 2026. Firefighter/Driver-Operator Skills Assessments will be held on July 1, 2026.
Candidates must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and be at least 21 years of age to operate fire apparatus.

This weekend has been a busy weekend for training for Pine Glen.

Today we had 4 members participating in an UTV/ATV Class hosted by the Karthaus Vol. Fire Co. Members attending the class were Ronnie Barndt, Connie Holt, Scott Leaper and Tim Albright.

Yesterday and today we had 4 members participating in a structural burn class hosted by the Citizens Hook & Ladder Fire Company. Members attending the class were Zane Hugar, Croix McCullough and Cole McCullough. Peary Schmoke operated the engine yesterday and our tanker today.

After all the equipment was cleaned, the fire company got dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with Karthaus Fire Company. The engine/rescue responded with 6 and the brush truck responded with 3 and we got canceled enroute.
