The Lonesome Dove 4-H Club will be hosting a burger sale fundraiser during the Karnes County Lamb and Goat Clinic on Oct 18 at the Karnes County Youth Show Karnes.

$10 for a burger, drink and chips. Get with a member to buy your ticket or msg us and we will have your ticket set aside!

Exciting news for those who haven’t heard…KCYS is adding rabbits to our county show! Since this is a completely new category, the KCYS Rabbit Superintendent Angie Dement is holding an informational meeting. If you are not yet in 4-H or FFA but think this might be something you are interested in trying out, I encourage you to attend. This is a great project for those kids who live in town and can’t have a larger animal project, you are wanting to try something new, or other animal projects are just too big for you.

Lonesome Dove 4-H Club along with some Panna Maria 4-H Club members helping run the fish pond during the South Texas BBQ Bash and Lonesome Dove 4-H showed up again today to help with clean up. Great job kids and parents!!! Way to go Karnes County!
