Caddo Friends The purpose of the Friends Group is to promote awareness and appreciation of the National Wildlife Refuge System.

The Friends help take care of outreach, special events, and operating needs for which the US Fish & Wildlife Service may not be budgeted.

🌿 Caddo Lake is one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in the South — a 27,000-acre wetland that supports rare wildlife, endangered species, and entire communities. CLI has been studying and protecting this ecosystem for over 30 years, and we're still learning. Science is our guide. The lake is our mission.
