CVAH joined the Cagayan Valley Medical Center and MBK in providing refreshments for approximately 180 individuals who attended a gathering of cancer patients and survivors on April 21, 2026 at the CVMC Cancer Center under the coordination of Ms. Claire M. During the dental mission, a dental education portion was also conducted on February 4, 2026 at the Ballesteros Cental Elementary School and the West Central Elementary School by Dr. Dean Sueda and staff and CVAH volunteers. Around 700 school children from K through Gade 6 were educated in the need to properly care their teeth. Each student was also given a toothpaste and toothbrush.

Aloha Medical Mission in coordination with the Cagayan Valley Association of Hawaii, Inc., the Provincial Gobverent of Cagayan , and Local Government Unit of Ballesteros has just completed a successful dental mission at the Ballesteros District Hospital on February 2-6, 2026. Thanks to the dentists and staffs from Aloha Medical Mission lead by Dr. Dean Sueda, from RHU Ballesteros lead by Dr. Constantino Ulanimo Jr., and local providers lead by Dr. Edith Salvador. Thanks also to Dr. Nicasio Galano Jr. and staff of the Ballesteros District Hospital for their unconditional support. Thanks also to local volunteers as well as CVAH volunteers for their unselfish efforts to make this mission a success. To God be all the glory.

A Dental Mission, provided by the Aloha Medical Missions through Dr Dean Sueda, and sponsored by the Cagayan Valley Association of Hawaii, Inc., has been scheduled for February 2, 3, 5, & 6, 2026 at the Ballesteros District Hospital in Ballesteros, Cagayan, Philippines Volunteers will provide teeth extraction and cleaning services during the mission. In addition, the volunteers will conduct dental care education classes for all grade levels at the Ballesteros Central Elementary School in the morning of February 4, 2026, and at Ballesteros West Central Elementary School in the afternoon of February 4, 2026. The volunteers will also provide toothbrushes and toothpastes to all attendees. See you all there.

Awarding of grants to CVAH scholars at the Cagayan State University Carig and Andrews campuses for the first semester of SY 2025-2026, was conducted on July 19, 2025 at the NGN Gran Hotel in Tuguegarao City. Thanks to the efforts of Ms. Alicia Ligsay for coordinating this program. Former Councilwoman Claire M. Callangan will soon be coordinating the program with Ms. Ligsay.
