Jude was founded in 2000 as a nonprofit organization by Billie Menard. This organization is a group of young ladies working together, along with their community, to help support and bring smiles to the faces of the children of St. Jude was founded, monetary donations and gifts have been donated to St. Jude Research Hospital and its’ affiliates Target House, Ronald McDonald House and Tri-Delta Hous
e in Memphis. In the early spring of each year Beanies for St. Jude travels to Memphis for their annual trip. While in Memphis, we host (3) meals and Mardi Gras Celebrations (Bringing a little La. for the children and families at St. Jude Research Hospital. How can you help? Here are a few ways you can help the children and families of St. Jude:
• Monetary Donation: Any donation will help big or small. All donations are tax deductible and our tax id number is available upon request.
• Sponsor a Meal: While in Memphis we provide a dinner at each of the housing facilities Ronald McDonald House, Target House, and Tri-Delta House for the children and their families. We serve approximately 300 people and it cost around $500 to cover the dinner.
• Prayers: If you are not able to give a donation, we ask that you pray for the patients of St. Jude and the members of Beanies for St. Jude who will be traveling each year to Memphis. Through the years, the small town of Kaplan has embraced Beanies for St. Jude with their support and generosity hosting various fundraising events.
