Jude was founded in 2000 as a nonprofit organization by Billie Menard. This organization is a group of young ladies working together, along with their community, to help support and bring smiles to the faces of the children of St. Jude was founded, monetary donations and gifts have been donated to St. Jude Research Hospital and its’ affiliates Target House, Ronald McDonald House and Tri-Delta Hous

e in Memphis. In the early spring of each year Beanies for St. Jude travels to Memphis for their annual trip. While in Memphis, we host (3) meals and Mardi Gras Celebrations (Bringing a little La. for the children and families at St. Jude Research Hospital. How can you help? Here are a few ways you can help the children and families of St. Jude:
• Monetary Donation: Any donation will help big or small. All donations are tax deductible and our tax id number is available upon request.
• Sponsor a Meal: While in Memphis we provide a dinner at each of the housing facilities Ronald McDonald House, Target House, and Tri-Delta House for the children and their families. We serve approximately 300 people and it cost around $500 to cover the dinner.

• Prayers: If you are not able to give a donation, we ask that you pray for the patients of St. Jude and the members of Beanies for St. Jude who will be traveling each year to Memphis. Through the years, the small town of Kaplan has embraced Beanies for St. Jude with their support and generosity hosting various fundraising events.

Dear Valued Supporters, Sponsors, and Friends,
After 25 incredible years of dedication, generosity, and shared purpose, I am writing to inform you that Beanies for St. Jude, our beloved 501(c)(3) organization, will be closing its doors. This decision, though bittersweet, comes with immense gratitude for the countless individuals, organizations, and communities who have made our mission possible. Together, we have raised over $1.5 million in donations to support the life-saving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, touching countless lives and advancing hope for children and families facing unimaginable challenges. We have also supported Ronald McDonald House, Target House, Tri Delta House and the newly opened Domino Village where we personally gave to the children of St. Jude and their families.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support. Whether you contributed through donations, volunteered your time, spread the word, or offered your encouragement, you have been the heartbeat of this organization. Your belief in our mission—to provide hope and healing through the work of St. Jude—has been the driving force behind every beanie sold, every event held, and every dollar raised.
To my "Beanies", Ambassadors, Friends & Family and cooks, Your dedication, creativity, and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on this organization and on me personally. Each of you brought unique energy and commitment that helped shape Beanies for St. Jude into the force for good it became. I am forever grateful for your partnership and friendship.
To our sponsors, your generosity provided the foundation for our work. Your belief in our cause amplified our impact, allowing us to reach milestones we could only dream of in the early days. Your support transformed ideas into reality and made a tangible difference in the lives of children and families.
As we close this chapter, I reflect on the memories we’ve created together—the laughter, the challenges overcome, and the shared moments of triumph. While Beanies for St. Jude Research Hospital may be coming to an end, the legacy of your kindness and generosity will live on in the lives we’ve touched and the hope we’ve fostered.

Cheers to 25 Years! Another successful trip to St. Jude Research Hospital, Target House, Tri Delta, Domino Village and Ronald McDonald House. Beanies donated wagons and toys for the children and siblings, donated and served meals to all of the patients and families, and stocked their pantries. We visited with many families and children bringing joy and grace to all. Our donation to St. Jude Hospital was $75,000. Beanies for St. Jude is greatful to all who donated to make the 25th year a huge success. We salute you, Danny Thomas, for turning your dream into a vision!
