OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW

KYAA is officially smelling some new in the air. OUR David and Rost Fields have hung some new netting . Thanks to all whom came out to help this project cause without the help with our dedicated community and boards this project would have not had a chance of completion in a 2 day job.
Now our proud spectators can capture some amazing footage of their loved ones.
So come out to see all our improvements on June 12-14 for Kaplan Youth Athletics Association will be hosting 2026 Pony baseball and softball sectionals. ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

Last night a post snapped with this weather and an electric line that powers up water tower and surrounding residents went without power and the City of Kaplan and City of Abbeville teamed up and within a few hours had new pole installed and line reconnected in spite of the rain and mosquitoes so residents and water tower could be back in service. Great team work and professionalism from both these crews. And thank you for Kaplan Police Department for barricading the roads till crews arrived and getting task completed.

KYAA will host the 2026 SECTION softball tourney in mid June.
Attached is the section tshirt in dri fit material, color sand (with
a nod to America & her greatest past time).

Shirts will be sold the weekend of the tournament at KYAA's facility.
