Good morning. I hope you all had a very nice Thanksgiving holiday.

I wanted to update everyone on the status of our project on Mr. Felix's building. We have set this Saturday, December 2nd, as our work day. We will begin at 8 am. Anyone available to help out would be appreciated. Please pass the word.

The material for the roof was around $800. We received a $600 donation from Mr. Romey, Doug, and Gary David and that was able to cover the bulk of it. With this generosity, we will not need to have a separate fundraiser to cover expenses.

Also, the sink and faucet were donated. Brad's plumbing has offered his expertise to install those items so it looks like we have all the bases covered at the moment.

Thank you all for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you all soon. Have a nice week!

Good morning everyone. Tonight will be our final supper for the fall season. Mr. Gabe Marceaux will be our sponsor. They will be serving fried pork chops, loaded baked potato mashed potatoes, and green beans. We will have pecan praline cupcakes for dessert. Please pass the word and be sure to come out and celebrate a successful start to our high school sports.

Our mighty Pirates saw their season come to an end this past Friday night, at the hands of the Jennings Bulldogs, by a final score of 34-6. Injuries seem to have a hand in part of the outcome but the weather conditions definitely played a role. Our first two drives showed great promise and were destined for scores. Unfortunately, both led to two turnovers inside the 20-yard line and gave the opponent an early advantage that proved too costly to overcome. We end the season with a 7-4 mark with a playoff game under our belt. This is a great experience for those young men coming up and gives them a taste of what lies ahead. The future looks bright and I could not be personally more proud! Always a Pirate!!!

Hope you all have a great week!

Good morning. Our sponsors tonight will be Mr. Wayne Marceaux and Police Chief Josh Hardy. They will be serving pork roast, string beans with white potatoes and tasso and bread pudding as dessert. Please pass the word and be sure to come out and enjoy!

The Pirate's regular season came to an end this Friday with a hard-fought loss to Abbeville, 18-14. That final result will give our team a 7-3 overall record and 3-1 in district. The season was good enough to get us into the playoffs at number 23 and our first opponent will be the Jennings Bulldogs. Please travel the hour's drive and help our boys try to keep their season alive!

Hope you all have a great week!!

Good evening everyone! Tomorrow night's supper will be sponsored by Eek Forman, Charlie Foreman, Dirk Gary, and Wayne Vidrine. They will be serving BBQ pork loin, eggplant rice dressing, baked beans, and praline cake. Please pass the word and be sure to also come out and enjoy!

This past Friday did not go according to plan and our Pirates suffered their second loss of the season as they fell to Church Point 12-8. The game was non-district and did not affect the outcome of the huge game to come this Friday. How much more could you ask for when you have to play your cross-town rival for not only parish bragging rights but district as well?? Bring it on!! It's a winner-take-all game so be sure to make the short drive and push our boys to victory!!! Go Pirates!!

Hope you all have a great week!

Good morning everyone! Tonights supper will be sponsored by Judge “JP” Perry, Senator Bob Hensgens, and Representative Ryan Bourriaque. They will be serving a pastalaya, corn maque choux and Cajun Cole slaw. We will have pecan praline cupcakes for dessert. Please pass the word and be sure to come out and enjoy!

What a huge win this past Friday! The Pirates were able to block out all the noise from Homecoming and the chatter that they couldn’t beat St. Martinville and pull off a 36-32 victory. Somebody forgot to let us in on the story where we were supposed to fail! It was a very deserving win and one the entire team should be proud of. We now sit at 7-1 overall and in the drivers seat of district at 3-0. We will be hosting the Church Point Bears this week and it is always a slugfest. Let’s give our boys a great crowd for their final regular season home game and cheer them to victory!

Hope you all have a great week!

Our Kaplan Pirates are now 6-1 on the season and 2-0 in district after beating Erath 16-13. We now face St. Martinville this Friday at home for homecoming and may the game that determines the district champion. Please pack that hometown stadium and send our boys to victory!

You all have a great week!

Good evening everyone!

Tomorrow night's supper will be sponsored by Mr. Romey David, Mr. Doug David, Mr. Gary David and Mr. Ryan Primeaux. They will be preparing pork roast and sausage in a gravy with a side of corn. Please pass the word and be sure to come out and enjoy.

Our Kaplan Pirates took care of business this past Friday beating Crowley 22-13 to move to 5-1 on the season. More importantly, they open district play with a victory. This week we will travel to Erath to take on the Bobcats. As you know, all things go out of the window when these rival games come into play. We will need all our voices to cheer our young men to victory. Please make plans to travel the short distance and carry us to a win.

Have a great week!

Good morning everyone! Sorry for the late email. I was out of town and got back late last night. Tonight’s supper will be sponsored by Mr. Lance Broussard, candidate for Vermilion Parish Sheriff. They will be preparing crawfish fettuccini & corn maque choux. Please pass the word and be sure to come out and enjoy.

Due to our late night, I will simply say that our Kaplan Pirates dominated the Beau Chene Gators from start to finish with a final score of 34-0. The opposing team was held to just 20 yards of total offense. For the entire game!! District starts this Friday at home against the Crowley Gents. Please make plans to kick off the second half of the season and push our Pirates to 5-1!

Have a nice week!

Hello everyone!

Tomorrow night's supper will be sponsored by Mr. Kevin Lege owner of Got Grass Lawn Service, Mr. Stephen Bourque owner of Hometown Hardware, and Mr. Neil Bouillion. They will be preparing shrimp etouffee, fried catfish, and corn maque choux. They are also providing a dessert. Please pass the word and be sure to come out and enjoy a fantastic meal!

Our Pirates suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the Rayne Wolves 25-22. It was a hard-fought contest and a tale of two halves. Kaplan went into the locker room at the midpoint trailing 19-8. The staff made some second half adjustments and brought life back into the stadium. After allowing over 200 yards in the first two quarters, Kaplan limited Rayne to just 29 total yards in the last two. This allowed our young men to mount a comeback that fell just short of happening. With 1:40 on the clock and the ball at our own 6 yard line down 22-25, a sack on the first play forced a long desperation pass on second down that fell into the opponents hands and ended the vailiant effort. Our Pirates are now 3-1 and travel to Beau Chene this Friday night. Be sure to go out and get our young men back on the winning track by cheering them to victory.

Hope you all have a great week!! Stay safe!
