This Tuesday Napili Kai Foundation held their annual scholarship presentation. The Foundation has awarded $51,000 in scholarships for higher education to 8 graduates, alumni and Napili Kai Beach Resort employees. The recipients are: Mekayla Bandy, daughter of a 32 year Resort employee, will be returning to UH Manoa as a junior majoring in Psychology ; Cheira-Emeryl Cappal, daughter of a 19 year Resort employee, will be returning to Portland State University as a junior in Marketing and Advertising Management ; Gracia Marie Acosta, a graduate of the Foundation, will be returning to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as a senior majoring in Hospitality ; Sarah Nicole Cariaga, a graduate of the Foundation, will be returning to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as a sophomore majoring in Hospitality ; Jasmine Lagazo, a graduate of the Foundation, will be returning to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as a junior majoring in Nursing ; Kayla Mabalot Del-Castillo, daughter of a 13 year Resort employee, will be returning to UH Manoa as a sophomore majoring in Graphic Design Animation ; Namahina Kawabata, a graduate of the Foundation, will be returning to UH West Oahu as a senior majoring in Creative Media ; Chase Imamoto, son of a 19 year Resort employee, will be attending Cal Poly Pomona majoring in Computer Engineering. Congratulations to all of you and good luck in all of your future endeavors!

We had a great Friday flight from Maui to Honolulu and then on to Rarotonga.
Then day 3 we spent our Sunday morning at a lovely church worshiping with the people of Rarotonga and enjoying the wonderful service with the most amazing singing🌺
