Before you enlist, think carefully about what it means to be a soldier for eight years. All members of the armed forces, from the doctor to the mechanic, are trained to fight and kill, and ongoing conflicts prove that fighting and killing can begin very suddenly. A soldier might get job training or money for college, but eventually can face a war. You owe it to yourself to think seriously about when it's justified to kill someone else.
