Expanded Dumpster Day is coming up! 🧹♻️

Join us Saturday, May 23 for VNA Dumpster Day — now with a new Re-Use-Full donation + swap opportunity!

9–11 AM: VNA Members Only — active members dump for free. Not a member? Join online or on-site.
11 AM–1 PM: Open to local residents — members dump free, non-members may dump for a recommended donation of $15/carload or $20/trailer. Dumpsters available until full.

NEW THIS YEAR: From 9 AM–Noon, bring clean, usable household items you’d happily pass along to a friend or neighbor — tools, kitchenware, small appliances, furniture, bikes, books, clothing and more. Neighbors can browse and take items, and from Noon–1 PM, Re-Use-Full will collect unclaimed items to match with a charity in need.

Please bring a photo ID and proof of Volker residency.

Big things are growing at the garden 🌱

Join us this Saturday, May 16th for a Volker Garden Workday! Exciting update—our greenhouse has arrived!

This weekend we’ll be prepping the greenhouse site, planting summer crops and pollinator beds, harvesting leafy greens, repairing the picnic bench, trimming orchard trees, weeding, and setting posts for the compost area. Bring gloves, water, and a friend if you’d like!

We’ll gather in the middle room from 6–7 PM for a casual evening with neighbors. VNA and Jazz will provide appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks, and members are welcome to purchase alcoholic drinks on their own.
