Platte County Connections (PCC) is the nonprofit arm of Platte County Board of Services (PCBS). While PCBS provides core services, supports, and community funding as Platte County’s Developmental Disabilities Resource Board, PCC helps fill the gaps when traditional funding sources fall short. Together, they work to make sure individuals with developmental disabilities and their families have the resources, opportunities, and support they need to live meaningful, connected lives and truly thrive.

Check out this great interview featuring PCBS CEO Martha Jaynes and Ron Catayoc, the namesake of the Catayoc Endowment Fund, as they share more about the mission, impact, and heart behind Platte County Connections!

At PCBS, we know every family’s journey looks different and finding the right supports, services, and information can sometimes feel overwhelming. We want to hear directly from YOU about what your family needs most right now.

Whether it’s respite, therapy, recreation, transportation, advocacy, housing, employment resources, or simply knowing where to start, your feedback helps us better understand the gaps, barriers, and opportunities in our community.

This short survey will help guide future resources, connections, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Platte County.

Platte County Connections, the nonprofit arm of Platte County Board of Services, helps fill the gaps by funding supports not covered by Medicaid or the Developmental Disabilities Resource Board Funding, including in-home respite, life enrichment, and emergent needs.

If you’re a parent or caregiver who has received support through PCC, we’d be grateful if you’d share your experience. Your perspective helps bring our mission to life and shows the real impact behind the work!

Email [email protected] if interested in sharing! Thank you!
