✨At Exceeds Expectations, impact will always be our priority.

💚As we concluded our 4-week Legacy Builders series for families, we reflected on the stories, growth, and transformations that took place throughout the program. Testimonials like the one shared on our first slide remind us why this work matters.

💚Over the past four weeks, participants gained more than financial literacy—they explored financial psychology, because understanding money starts with understanding our mindset. Through education, meaningful conversations, and practical tools and resources, families left with new knowledge, renewed confidence, and a stronger vision for their future.

💚In this series, five first-time participants received brand-new laptops to support their continued growth, while two returning participants were recognized with gift cards for their ongoing commitment to lifelong learning. In addition to completing the program, all participants are paired with a personal financial coach for up to 18 months.

✨A huge thank you to JFS of Greater Kansas City (Jewish Family Services) for partnering with us and providing dinner each session, together we leave a lasting impact on our community.

Exceeds Expectations is growing, and we're excited for you to meet the team behind the mission! ✨

This year, we're proud to welcome our two marketing interns, Jorden and Iqra, who are both former F.I.L.M. Camp participants. Seeing them return in leadership roles is a reminder of the impact that can happen when young people are given opportunities to learn, grow, and lead.

We're also excited to have Bree, our Youth Coordinator, who oversees F.I.L.M. Camp while contributing to our marketing efforts, and Alana, our Program Coordinator, who leads our programs and serves our community and bridges the gap with passion and purpose.

Together, this team is committed to empowering youth, creating opportunities, and continuing to exceed every day. 💚

The last two sessions of the Legacy Builders Series for families have been incredible and filled with valuable knowledge! Participants had the opportunity to learn about important topics such as budgeting, insurance, financial planning, and more. With just one week remaining before we celebrate and gift our participants, we are proud of the growth, engagement, and conversations that have taken place throughout this series.

A special thank you to our guest facilitators, Erika Cosey with Thrive Finance Creatives and Michael Funaro with WestPac Wealth Partners. Their willingness to teach, share their expertise, and pour into our participants made a lasting impact. Through their guidance, families walked away more informed, empowered, and equipped with practical financial knowledge they can begin applying to their everyday lives.

We are truly grateful for their support and commitment to helping strengthen and educate our community.
