This Thanksgiving, there has been a whole lot for us to reflect on and be grateful for this year.
We are grateful for so many things in this world, but most especially we are grateful for you, KC. Our neighbors, friends and family that stand up for each other in quiet, meaningful ways every single day. The person who holds the door open for us, the person watching the crosswalk carefully before making a turn.
The one who is there when there’s an accident or emergency, or who knows how to help when things go wrong.
The person who puts the shopping cart away, and takes their plastic bag full of plastic bags to donate to a local pantry.
The people who put boxes out and collect supplies to give to people who have less. The ones who volunteer to help.
Our neighbors who see each other and know that there’s a better future out there for us all, together, if we try.
We’re so thankful for each and every one of you, and it is our sincere hope that no matter where you are today, that you are warm and that you know you are loved.
Thanks, KC! Rest easy and we’ll be back at it next week.
