Did you know... Our ABC program have expanded so much that we've had to split the club into two groups—one for 1st to 3rd graders, and another for 4th to 6th graders. The enthusiasm from our older group is so tremendous that they fill the entire snack shop during snack time, and our vehicles are packed to the brim. In fact, we have reached a point where we unfortunately have to turn away kids who want to join because we simply don't have enough space.

This summer, we're taking the opportunity to rebuild and fortify the center so that when we return, we'll be even stronger and more equipped to welcome more children. To make this vision a reality, we need your support. Donations are vital to help us with the rebuild, and we're actively seeking another vehicle so that we never have to turn kids away again.

Please stay strong with us and keep the milestone in your thoughts and prayers. If you feel inspired to give, your contribution will make a real difference. And if you happen to come across a vehicle that could help us transport more kids to the center, please let us know.

Sending a huge THANK YOU!

The Northeast community has been incredibly supportive in the wake of the fire. Local partners helped secure damaged windows and office spaces, while area churches have generously offered their buildings as backup sites for our programming.

We are actively supporting the children displaced by the fire by securing offsite locations to keep their activities moving forward. We are organizing park field days and other external events to ensure they still have the recreational opportunities and support they usually find at our gym.

We have hired contractors to begin repairs on May 11, but we need your help to recover from this devastating loss. As an organization that relies on the generosity of our community, we are seeking donations of any size to support our cleanup and restoration efforts. Your monetary gifts will go directly toward repairing the electrical system, roof, and windows, as well as replacing the floors and walls in our damaged office. Since 1989, Milestone has served as a beacon of safety and stability in the Northeast community; with your support, we can ensure our doors reopen as soon as possible to continue that mission.

Pray for the families and kids of our center. The kids are heartbroken and sending me messages about how worried they are for the center. It is a gentle reminder of the love that the kids have for their time at the center.

Kansas City's arson unit has been called in after a community gym caught fire over the weekend.

Well it took too long to post the fun pictures from our Galentines lock in for the teen girls at the end of February. We have such an amazing group of girls that love the Lord. They amaze me every day.

If anyone knew Mike Bobbitt you know that this movie was a key element that drove him to start an inner city ministry. The clothes are so outdated but the message is still the same because God's message never changes. If you get a chance to watch, it's a good one. I can't tell you how many times I watched it.

We setup today for the Missions Fair at Connection Point church. We are so thankful for everything the Connection Point does for the Milestone Youth Center. Come visit our table tomorrow at the church.
