It's going to be a great day! This Saturday May 9, 2026 we're having the Urban Kids Fishing Derby Chicago at William W Powers State Rec Area located at 12049 S Avenue O Chicago, IL 60633 for ages 4-16 with parent or guardian starting at 8:30- 12p. Bring your pole, bait, bucket and preregister at www.urbankidsfish.com We will have some loaner poles available. Biggest Fish is $100.00 See you there!

Urban American Outdoors TV (UAOTV) and SODAS Life Inc. (Saving our Daughters and Sons Life) 501c3 will host the Urban Kids Fishing Derby Chicago. The free Saturday fishing excursion will be held on May 9, 2026, at William W Powers State Recreation Area 12949 S Avenue O Chicago, IL. The derby begins at 8:30am till 12 noon.

The Kid’s Derby is free for youngsters between the ages of 4 to 16 and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All registered participants may bring their own rods, reels, bait, chair, and or stringer. Loaner poles will be available for those who need one that preregister.

If you are interested in having your child participate, go to https://uaotv.com/urban-kids-fish-chicago/ and sign up, if you have questions call us at 913-334-5177. The event is limited to the first 75 kids. The biggest fish caught by our young angler, there will be a $100.00 prize.

The Urban Kids Fishing Derby 2026 Tour is about to kick off starting this Saturday April 25, 2026 in Tyler, Texas. Families have been signing up excited about a day in nature, family fun and fishing. We're getting ready for the 3rd Annual Urban Kids Fishing Derby at Woldert Park in Tyler, Texas Saturday April 26, 2025 from 8:30am till 12p for ages 4-16 with parent. The derby is free and open for 150 participants. There will be prizes and biggest fish caught is $100.00 To preregister go to https://uaotv.com/urban-kids-fish-tyler-tx/
