The results of our Souper Bowl of Caring donation drive are in and we are so overwhelmingly blessed to announce we received just under 300lbs of hygiene items! Bath soap, shampoo, period products, dental hygiene items, and more are essential because caring for our neighbors means supporting the whole person—not just meeting food needs. Thank you to all who donated and rasied awareness!

We want to express our gratitude to the staff at Chapel Hill and Meadowbrook elementary schools for collecting warm winter wear for our pantry visitors! We are so thankful for the many ways our community shows up for us and our neighbors in need.

Our annual Souper Bowl of Caring is near. Please consider donating hygiene items for this year's fundraiser such as:
-Bar soaps for bathing
-Shampoo
-Deodorant
-Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
-Menstrual products such as pads and tampons are also welcomed
Donations can be dropped off at HOPE.wrx or Hillside Christian Church by this Sunday, February 8th. Thank you for supporting our neighbors!

HOPE.WRX has had an incredibly busy and generous season.
Between November 1 and December 15, more than $17,000 was donated and matched. We also received over 2,000 pounds of food and essential items from our community.

Because of these efforts, our shelves remain well stocked, and we are deeply grateful for this support as we head into the coming year.

BIG Thank you to the employees of Spectrum who had a food drive for HOPE.WRX. Their generous collection of food and non food items resulted in over 800 pounds. Their thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. Thanks to Ross Perry for suggesting our food pantry.

The pantry will be OPEN today, Monday 12/22 and tomorrow Tuesday 12/23 normal hours. The pantry will be CLOSED Wednesday 12/24 and Thursday 12/25.

COLD WEATHER SHELTER WILL BE ACTIVATED FOR THE NIGHT OF WEDNESDAY, December 3rd.

Important:

PLEASE do not arrive at A Turning Point for shelter. We do not pick up from A Turning Point. Shelter Is NOT at A Turning Point.

PLEASE do not arrive at Good Shepherd North Oak prior to 6:00pm.

We will run shuttle on activated nights from 6p-7:30 from these two bus stops:

🚚201 Bus Line at North Oak and Vivion - Please wait at the bench by the retention pond next to Pizza Ranch, facing Lowes.
🚚238 Bus Line at Antioch and Vivion - Please wait in the covered bus stops next to Walgreens just south of the Walmart Parking Lot (the Park and Ride stop)
