Bridging The Gap Bridging The Gap (BTG) is the leading local environmental organization in Kansas City. www.bridgingthegap.org

With overwhelming volunteer support and more than a dozen environmental initiatives, BTG is leading the region towards sustainability. Bridging The Gap seeks to educate citizens, businesses and government on the impact of decisions and behavior on our present and future community and world. The mission of Bridging The Gap’s Kansas City WildLands (KCWL) program is to conserve, protect, and restore remnant natural areas to increase ecosystem health and resiliency across the Kansas City metro.

The Seasonal Seed Technician will contribute to this mission primarily through the collection and management of native seed and plant materials. This role also offers opportunities to gain experience in invasive species management, prescribed fire, and community-based conservation efforts. This position is supervised by a KCWL Program Coordinator and will engage with volunteers, partners, and conservation professionals throughout the region.
