Youth Sports - YMCA of Greater Kansas City Youth ages 3 to 18 can be active, build confidence, learn new skills, and make new friends. Every child gets to be part of the team.

Coaches focus on teaching game basics, improving skills, and fostering teamwork in a positive, encouraging environment.

Next up on our NFL FLAG FOOTBALL championship tournament update series is the KC Heat | Girls Flag Football 14u Red team

These ladies crushed it! Going 3-0 in pool play scoring 57 points and only allowing 34 points to give them the 7 seed going into bracket play

The Heat then won two bracket games to make the Elite 8 before losing to the Conquer chargers from California. Conquer went on to win the 14u Girls division

Great job ladies, way to represent Kansas City!!

WHO'S READY FOR FALL SOCCER?! ⚽🍂

The jerseys are coming out. The shin guards are getting dusted off. And we can't wait to see all those excited smiles back on the field!

From first kicks in Bitty Soccer to growing skills in Youth Soccer, our coed leagues give kids the chance to play, learn, make friends, and have a blast together. Expect plenty of teamwork, big cheers, and even bigger high-fives! 🙌

Congratulations to the KC Shockers from our YMCA Flag league that represented us in the ESPN bracket of the NFL FLAG FOOTBALL championships this weekend!

Both teams went 3-0 in pool play. The boys allowed 0 points in pool play and the girls only allowed 6 to win their pool play

Both teams journey ended in the sweet sixteen round.

The 14u boys team has a NFL flag POY top five finalist Quinn Miles from Shawnee Mission West HS

The High School girls team also had a NFL Flag POY top five finalist Kate Mikuls from Mill Valley High School

Quinn Miles along with Ahreya Townsel from Shawnee Mission NorthWest made the Oakley US Future of Flag all tournament team!

Congratulations to both teams! Stay tuned as we will update you on the 10 other YMCA teams and how they finished!
