We’re so excited and honored to host the at Wonderscope this weekend!

On August 23 from 12 to 5 pm, visitors can view the traveling art exhibit and take advantage of workshops and activities designed to help families feel seen, understood, and celebrated.

The 100 Cleft Portraits Tour features 100 portraits and personal stories of people born with cleft, created by artist and trauma-informed coach . This is the exhibition's first-ever U.S. tour, presented by the and sponsored by , and Wonderscope is one of 12 stops nationwide.

And it’s not just an art show. This event is part healing experience, part community celebration, and part advocacy in action–with portrait workshops for kids, trauma-informed parenting workshops, food trucks, and more.

It was a big day! 🥰 And we've been your home for learning through play with our interactive, accessible, STEAM-focused, Kansas City-themed exhibits and programming ever since! Our KCMO building has 30,000 square feet of indoor exploration and 1/2 acre of year-round outdoor adventure just waiting for you!

We're celebrating everything Kansas City this week. From daily programming to pop-up activities, Wonderscope is all about jazz, BBQ, baseball, and more during our KANSAS CITY WEEK! Hope we see you here for all the hometown fun!

We'll be learning, tasting, and voting during Science Time on Tuesday and WonderLab on Wednesday. Bring the whole family and help us decide once and for all which KC BBQ sauce is the best!
