Mid-America Regional Council KC Metro's association of city and county governments and metropolitan planning organization. Some issues reach across the boundaries of individual communities.

Often they can only be addressed by working together. The Mid-America Regional Council promotes regional cooperation and develops innovative solutions. We help create a community people are proud to call home. MARC is a nonprofit association of city and county governments and the metropolitan planning organization for the bistate Kansas City region. Governed by a board of local elected officials,

we serve nine counties and 119 cities. We provide a forum for the region to work together to advance social, economic and environmental progress. MARC is funded by federal, state and private grants, local contributions and earned income. What a celebration!
More than 400 people stopped by the Robert J. Mohart Multi-Purpose Center in Kansas City, Missouri last Friday for the third annual Age of Celebration, a free block party and aging resource fair open to adults over 60 and caregivers.
A big thank you to the 70 plus organizations and health care agencies that shared information with older adults at the event.
Attendees learned about healthy aging, had access to health tests and attended interactive workshops.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the e-bike petting zoo this weekend at the Northeast Arts Annual Chalk Walk event.
Christina Baanders-Decker from Midwest Cyclery LLC joined us with an acoustic bike, electric bike, and electric urban arrow bike.
E-bike owners had a chance to share their bike with others for test rides, answer questions and provide honest feedback on their ownership experience.
Those interested in E-bikes got to ask questions, test ride bikes and learn more about the experience of owning an e-bike in the Kansas City region.
