We are excited to be celebrating The Salvation Army's 100th year of camping in Kansas City, in 2024. We combine the beauty and serenity of nature on 40-acres with business and retreat accommodations with an affordable experience for all kinds of groups seeking to meet, relax and have some fun. Rental available August- May. During the summer months we host summer camps for kids. We had a great time hosting Day Campers this week as part of our staff training to help train our staff for summer! There’s nothing better than hearing kids laughing and splashing in the pool as we prepare for an amazing camp season. We loved every minute of it!

We’re so grateful for our partnership with Bijou Build and their generous donation to camp this summer! Our volunteers helped put this structure together in a couple of hours yesterday. It was simple to put together and we will have the ability to move it around Camp as needed. We can already picture campers climbing, playing, and making memories here all summer long. Thank you Bijou Build for helping create spaces for fun, adventure, and joy!

Yesterday was a big day at camp, and we’re feeling incredibly thankful! A huge thank you to all of our new and old friends who came out to serve alongside us. Your hard work and willingness to jump in made a huge impact. So much was accomplished, and because of you, camp is looking great and ready for an amazing summer ahead.
