The Bonner Springs NAACP held its first of two Town Hall Meetings in our meet the Candidates series. We heard from Candidates running for: US Senate, Governor and Lt Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and Commissioner of Insurance. These Candidates representing all party affiliation including unaffiliated Candidates were allowed to share with guests a little bit about themselves and why they are running for office.

A special thank you to the Bonner Springs City Library for allowing us to host this event in their beautiful community room.

Another Special thanks to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ~ Mu Omega Chapter for the light refreshments of cookies and juice.

Please make sure to come to the next Town Hall on the 27th to hear from all Candidates running for Kansas House of Representatives. Please note all Candidates regardless of party affiliation are welcome to all of our meet and greet events as we are a nonpartisan organization.
