At Kansas City Public Schools first “On the Road” school board meeting, hosted at East High School, Front Porch Alliance was recognized for our long time community partnership with Faxon Elementary.

Throughout the school year, our incredible volunteers work directly with students, during the school day in our PALs tutoring program.

Thank you to KCPS, Faxon Elementary, our LINC partners, our volunteers, and Ms. Hanna & Ms. Lindsay for continuing to make sure this program thrives.

We were so excited for the State of the Front Porch event, scheduled for Tuesday morning 10/14. We planned to share highlights from the program year, discuss our future plans, and highlight our community.

Unfortunately, we have to postpone due to unforeseen circumstances. We’re dealing with office damage from the recent storms/ heavy rains.

Stay tuned for a new date, coming soon!
