Around a year ago, I began to sketch on shipping tags. It's a perfect small canvas! I hand out tags everywhere I go: the drive thru, the store, walking, EVERYWHERE that I meet someone, and we all need more JOY, HOPE, PEACE and LOVE. I've been refused, rebuffed, hugged, loved. I want YOU to know that you are loved, you matter, and would love to see you again in Paradise!
Included on every tag is at least one Scripture verse, usually John 3:16, a statement of love for the recipient, and a SEMICOLON. God is my strength and my salvation. Jesus Christ died for you and me, so that we might live! Accept Him, His Love and Mercy, and repent.
The semicolon is a symbol of a PAUSE, instead of HARD STOP/END, for those struggling with depression, despair or thoughts of self harm, especially that ends in death. YOU MATTER!! You are WORTHY. I've been on that edge many people struggle with, and I know what it's like. It's scary and it's lonely. Even a small gesture of love like these tags, or a phone call, or a hug, can make the difference between someone living or dying today. I still recall a phone call from a librarian who hadn't seen me in awhile, and called me, concerned. She didn't know me, but she knew of me. It made such a difference, and I still remember it over 30 years later.
Sharing my heart with you is part of my mission. When I share my heart with you, it's not just with my imperfect love, but with the perfection of God's Love and Mercy.
If you've accepted a tag from me, or from one of my friends, know that I love you, no matter who you think you are. I love the light that is in you. Please feel free to pass the tag on to someone else who might need it, or keep it for your mirror, billfold, or wherever you want to find a piece of love.
