🌟Celebrating 10 Years of Opportunity, Growth & Success! 🌟
This April marks 10 years since our journey began, and what an incredible decade it’s been.
Our story started back in April 2016, when nearly 30 young people travelled from across the UK, including Northern Ireland, to attend our very first workshop, proudly hosted by Normanton Herefords.
That day sparked something special: a community built on passion, learning, and the drive to shape the future of our breed and industry.
Since then, our young members have achieved extraordinary things:
In 2018: A group of young members travelled to Ireland, attended a workshop and participated in young handlers at Tullamore Show
In 2022: We hosted the first ever breed society charity ball, with people travelling from all over the UK and from to Europe to attend the black tie event. £10,800 was raised in the process.
In 2020: A team of young breeders represented the UK in New Zealand at the World Hereford Conference
In 2025: Another team travelled to the USA to fly the flag for British talent at the next 2025 World Hereford Conference
Yearly representation at the National Stock judging competition held at Three Counties Show.
Many young members have gone on to win young handler awards across the country.
Our young people have been present and contributing at the British Cattle Breeders Club Conference.
Several have even been nominated for national awards in their own right, a testament to their dedication and skill
Alongside these achievements, hundreds have taken part in workshops, farm walks, training days, and unforgettable events that have helped shape confidence, careers, and lifelong friendships.
A decade later, our mission remains the same:

💪Opening doors.
💪Championing young talent.
None of this would have happened without the support of breeders, parents, supporters and the wider Hereford community.
