Dr. Kristina Kraas Schuler has been a proud Tri Sigma for 39 years. Kris married her high school sweetheart and they are celebrating their 38 anniversary this year. Kris has 3 grown children: Korey, Kaleb, and Kate (who is a Tri Sigma too!). Kris was an elementary school teacher for 25 years and is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Central Missouri where she has been teaching education courses for 7 years.

Kris is the president of the Kansas City Tri Sigma Alumnae Chapter and is also a CAB advisor for the collegiate Tri Sigma Nu Chapter in Warrensburg, MO.

Kris says, “I did not become a Tri Sigma until my Junior year of college. I was missing the college experience and I knew I had one last chance to ‘find my people!’ I found that in Tri Sigma and since then, it has been a continuous experience of sisterhood, friendship, and unconditional love.”
