I’ve seen so many of you asking how you can support families affected by the recent halt in food stamps, thank you for caring.

Our school, Maple Valley State School for the Severely Disabled (located on the Maple Woods Community College campus in the Northland), serves incredible kids whose families are often living on very limited or single incomes while caring for medically complex children. With SNAP benefits being cut and Thanksgiving around the corner, the need is even greater.

We’re collecting nonperishable food, grocery gift cards, and donations to help lighten the load this season.
And thanks to your kindness, we’ve already made a great start!

Our bingo game to support Maple Valley is next Saturday, March 8th. We’ve got a limited number of seats, so please reserve your spots online in advance. Or, if you prefer, just give me a message and I’ll add you to the list and you can pay at the door. Once we’re full, we won’t be able to take any more people.
