Tonight, as the world grows quiet and the shadows stretch a little longer, we pause to remember the brave souls who answered a call greater than themselves.

In our line of work, we often speak of echoes from the past, stories that refuse to be forgotten. Memorial Day reminds us that some spirits don’t linger in haunted buildings or forgotten places, they live on in memory, sacrifice, and the hearts of those they protected and those that loved them.

To the heroes who gave everything for the generations that followed: your watch may have ended on earth, but your legacy never will.

From all of us at Apex Paranormal, we honor the fallen, remember the brave, and send gratitude to the families carrying their memories forward.

May we never forget the voices of the past and may they never fade into silence.

He might have visited last October too.

ONE team has already claimed their spot at the Kansas State Penitentiary and now we’re wondering…

Are there ANY other teams brave enough to step inside these walls after dark?

Because on May 22nd, the cell doors open for a night of paranormal investigation that is equal parts thrilling, terrifying, and completely unforgettable.

Only FOUR teams total will be allowed in. One spot is already gone. That leaves just THREE chances to explore the shadows, chase the voices, and see what still lingers inside one of Kansas’ most haunted locations.

No public crowds. No noisy distractions. Just your team, your equipment, and the unsettling feeling that maybe you aren’t alone. Trust me, you aren’t alone anywhere in the prison.

You’ll investigate:
🕯 A House
🕯 C House
🕯 D House
🕯 Cafe/Chapel/Auditorium

Each team gets dedicated investigation time in every area with one hour and forty five minutes to dig deep, ask questions, and maybe hear answers you weren’t prepared for.

Bring your cameras. Bring your flashlights. Bring that one teammate who says “nothing scares me” because we absolutely love proving those people wrong.

Check in begins at 5:45 PM and the investigation starts promptly at 6:00 PM. The spirits don’t wait, and neither do we.

You’ve been asking, and now, we are delivering! Paranormal lovers, thrill-seekers, and brave souls it’s finally happening. We’re opening the doors for Paranormal Investigation Evenings at the Kansas State Penitentiary!

May 22nd

Only 4 groups per evening, that’s it. No crowds. No chaos. Just the four teams, and whatever else is lurking.

Pricing (Established Paranormal Teams Only)
• $500 for up to 10 investigators
• $50 per additional person

Bring your own gear. Your cameras. Your courage. (You’re gonna need all three.)

Check-In: 5:45 PM
Investigation begins promptly at 6:00 PM(Translation: Don’t be late… the spirits won’t wait for you, and you will lose precious time)

Investigation Areas Include:
• A House
• C House
• D House
• Cafe/Chapel/Auditorium

You’ll get 1 hour 45 minutes per area to explore, question, and maybe get answers.

During Your Session:
• You control your own time (yes, even your snack breaks, restroom breaks, you know, the things)
• Apex & LHS team members will be nearby to: Answer questions, Keep things safe, Make sure you don’t wander where you shouldn’t!

Before you begin, we’ll hook you up with:
• A brief history of each area
• Tips & tricks (because not all spirits play the same, we even have a clothing suggestion!)
• Equipment suggestions
• Rules you MUST follow (some are DOC rules, so don’t test them, you don’t want to end up on the other side of the wall!)

Known as The Ex*****on Scream, this male screaming is heard every night throughout the prison grounds at the KS State Pen. Can’t believe we caught it on camera during our investigation there! YouTube.com/apexparanormal

The scream, heard between 11 pm and midnight, was caught on camera while we filmed the Apex Chronicles. We heard it with our ears and our cameras caught it.

This was the first time we heard it, but not the last. We’ve found out during our time there that it has been called the ex*****on scream. Ex*****ons at the Kansas State Penitentiary have been done by hanging. Sometimes, it’s not a quick process. The screams make sense. The long agonizing minutes.

On Friday, we will see if the screams can be heard amongst the cell houses. A few tickets are left to join us. Click on the event, or the link in the comments.
