What is SOBRA?
SOBRA (Sixth Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) is a limited Kansas Medicaid Program that may help cover emergency medical services for certain individuals who do not qualify for full Medicaid due to immigration status. Coverage may include emergency care needed to save a life, organ, or bodily function, as well as labor and delivery services. SOBRA does not cover prenatal, postpartum, or routine medical care.
