For a student experiencing homelessness, the challenges of the school day don't always end when the final bell rings. Housing instability can affect nearly every part of a family's life.

That's why our work doesn't begin and end with finding a place to sleep.

We walk alongside families, connecting them with housing, employment, education and the resources that can help create lasting stability.

It could prepare breakfast for a family.

Pack food for someone who needs it.

Sort clothing that will soon find a new home.

Or give your kids the opportunity to experience what it means to serve someone else.

Saturday mornings at Avenue of Life are an opportunity for individuals, families and small groups to serve together while supporting families in our community.

You don't have to change the whole world in one morning.

Sometimes helping a family move forward starts with something simple: sitting down together.

Families experiencing housing instability rarely face just one challenge. Housing can be connected to employment, childcare, transportation, food, healthcare, education and so much more.

That's why Avenue of Life's work goes beyond providing immediate assistance.

Our Navigators work directly with families to understand their individual needs, set goals and help remove the barriers standing between them and long term stability.

It's personal work. And it's work made possible by a community that believes every family deserves the opportunity to move forward.
