🏡💚 Home at Last: A Journey Worth Celebrating

A family in our program recently achieved a major milestone: purchasing a home of their own!

With guidance from one of our Navigators, support from our amazing Impact Partners, and plenty of hard work and determination from the family, they moved from housing uncertainty to homeownership.

Along the way, they attended classes, utilized our pantry, and took advantage of resources designed to help families build lasting stability.

🏡 A Safe Place to Regroup and Rebuild

A family in our program experienced unexpected setbacks this year and found themselves unsafe, without housing. Rather than making a rushed decision, they worked closely with their navigator to identify the safest and healthiest path forward.

That path led them back to family.

By moving in with their family, they gained something incredibly important: stability, support, and time to focus on rebuilding for the future.

Too often, we view asking for help as moving backward. We see it differently.

Choosing safety.
Choosing support.
Choosing a plan.

Those are signs of strength. Today, this family has stability, safety, and hope for the future, and that is something worth celebrating. 💚

It did not take long to see that she brings something truly special to our team. The way she connects, supports, and shows up for our community is incredible to witness.

💚Determination met support. And everything changed.

When this parent first came to participate in the Impact Model, they were facing the aftermath of an eviction and months of living in temporary hotel stays with their children. Employment changes, transportation barriers, and the stress of unstable housing made each day uncertain. Still, they remained committed to rebuilding.

With the support of an Impact Navigator, coordinated care helped connect every piece. From shelter to housing to employment support, each step moved forward without delay because partners worked together on their behalf.

There were setbacks along the way, including a season of unemployment. But through persistence and continued effort, stability began to take shape.

Today, they are safely housed and continuing to build a stronger future for themselves and their family.

💚 A fresh start, powered by partnership.

When we met this Impact Model participant, they were living in a shelter while working toward stable housing and exploring a new career. There were many moving pieces, and each step required persistence and support.

Through the guidance of an Impact Navigator, connections were built between the shelter team, the housing authority, and community partners. Every requirement for their voucher and lease was completed through collaboration and steady follow through.

Because of this, they were approved for housing and moved into a safe, stable home.

Now, they are focused on furnishing their space, building financial stability, and completing training that will open doors to meaningful employment in a field they are passionate about.
