🌸 Spring Is Coming… Which Means Craft Show Season Is Too! 🤖

Hello Crafters and Friends,

It is somehow already the end of February, and we are officially looking ahead to our Spring Piper Craft Show on Saturday, May 9th (second Saturday in May this year!).

While we’re preparing for May, our Piper Robotics teams are deep in competition season. Our FIRST Tech Challenge team has advanced through Super Regionals and has qualified for the Kansas–Missouri State Championship, with a shot at Worlds still in play. It’s an exciting time in the robotics shop, and events like this craft show are what make those opportunities possible.

Good evening crafters, we’re a little over 12 hours before loading starts and I just wanted to drop a line and say that we are excited and waiting for you to be there!

On a more serious note, though we have tried and tried and tried to stop the scammers. It seems like they are worse than ever. And from conversations that I’ve had with several folks it seems like they’re trying new tactics of directly messaging you. I just want to be clear about a couple things I’ve noticed.

First off there is not now nor will there ever be a parking fee. The show is 100% free to all people who want to come and buy from you. If you have been in communication with anyone besides the Page title itself, Piper craft show, my individual personal self Stephan Brumbaugh, or Katie Comer then I need you to please turn them into Facebook as scammers. Because the two individual accounts that I mentioned and the Piper craft show Page itself are the only official ways that you should receive Facebook communication about the show.

I’ve mentioned to a few of you that at 7 o’clock tonight. An email should be going out as a final welcome with some final information. That’s going to be delayed a little bit because I’m currently dictating this message from Sam’s Club not my computer. As soon as I get to my computer, I will send the email with the last-minute information. Nothing has changed for those of you that have already received it.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all in the morning
Stephan Brumbaugh on behalf of the Piper craft show team

Hey everybody, I'm going through and still playing whack-a-mole with the scammers. We are not accepting any new registrations and haven't been for a while. We filled up incredibly fast for this Christmas show.

Remember the only account that should ask you for any information, who has any authorization to speak on behalf of the Piper craft show, or should be sending you registration information, Is this one. Anybody else is misleading you. Please report them if you see them and I will do my best to keep it cleared out, unfortunately there are a lot of them and only one of me who is able to do this kind of work (Facebook is blocked for our team members at the school (as it should be)) :)

Good Afternoon Crafters,

It's hard to believe that we are exactly 3 weeks away from setting up for the December show. I have no idea where this year went, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down as we come up on Christmas.

Just a couple of minutes ago, I sent out our first welcome letter to all of the Crafters who have registered for the show. If you have not received an email, let me know. I believe, at this point, we didn't have any emails bounce back!

Good Morning everybody,
We're currently just over a month and a half away from the Christmas craft show! It's amazing how fast time flies. I am sending out this message to anyone who might be interested in joining us for the Christmas show as a vendor. At the time of sending this message, we've got approximately 20 spaces left. Don't forget to visit pipercraftshow.org to register. When the show fills up, we will shut the form down. If we have any cancellations, we will reach out in as timely and fashion as possible.
Thank you all,
The Piper Craft Show Team

P.S.
Please don't forget that the only way anyone associated with the show would be asking for a payment from you is through the form on the website listed above. Any other person asking for money or registration from you is a scam. We are doing our best to stay on top of the scammers that are showing up in our comments, but at the end of the day we are a student run team, and I am a teacher who can't focus on cleaning up the comments all the time. We have implemented some word filters, so hopefully that will reduce the number of scams showing up. Again, thank you everybody for your patience while we figure out the best way forward in light of people wanting to make a quick buck by scamming you.
