Nourish KC Community Kitchen We are a nonprofit focused on building a food secure Kansas City community. Free lunch is served Monday - Friday from 12:00 noon - 3:00pm

NourishKC, formerly Episcopal Community Services, is a nonprofit dedicated to building a food-secure region in the Greater Kansas City area, both in providing healthy food and assisting the community to move beyond the barriers of poverty with dignity. In operation for more than 25 years, we offer several programs including Kansas City Community Kitchen at 750 Paseo, a network of emergency food pa

ntries and meal programs, food rescue and Culinary Training Program. We aim is to feed anyone in need and change lives in the process by partnering with agencies and helping our volunteers build community.

Volunteer at gumbo Fest 2026. We have opportunities for you to help with guest welcoming, event set up, hospitality, and so much more.
We would love to see you and a bonus is all the gumbo you can eat!

Our Culinary Futures students had the opportunity to join and Master Gardener Phillip to learn about planting and harvesting our own food.
The students spent the morning harvesting fruits and vegetables from the garden. They will now take the produce back to the kitchen where will teach them how to prepare and feed our community.
You can always join us for lunch at 750 Paseo from 12:00 noon - 3:00.
