We have had to cancel all of our bigger fundraising events this year and our funds are really low preventing us from helping the kids of Kansas City. A little late in posting but a big Thank you to the kids that came out on the freezing Saturday for our Fall Kids Fishing Derby Saturday October 24! The kids had a great time fishing, had lunch and got a nice trick or treat bag full of goodies!

Don't forget to bring your kids out to the Downtown KC Optimist Fall Fishing Derby this Saturday October 24! Registration from 10:00 to 10:30 and fishing starts at 10:30. Lunch served. We can use some volunteers to help the kids fish and with lunch. Masks are required and practice social distancing. Hope to see you there! Pre-register with Chris at [email protected]

Our October Lunch and Learn is canceled and rescheduled for Tuesday January 19, 2021. Sorry for the inconvenience. Issue with social distancing and covid. Wanted to make sure everyone was safe and that we could have a nice crowd for Kelli. People are still hesitant to come to meetings and be with a group of people. Hope to see in January to come see Kelli Baliff's very special presentation. Hope 2021 is a much better year!

Due to the Covid still going on we are postponing the Lunch and Learn until September. Hope to see you then!

Due to the Coronavirus scare the museum where the Chocolate and Wine event has closed temporaily and has postponed events therefore we have postponed the event and will reschedule as soon as we are able to and the museum notifies us that they are open again. Stay tuned!
