Two years ago, Scott Foster, with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - MO, Kansas City-Southeast, took my call when Reagan was looking for an organization to donate matresses too. He then scheduled a time to talk with Reagan directly, asking her about why she started K'ing the Cold, what was great about it, what was hard or scary about it, and what she might want to do next. He gave her some great advice but more importantly he gave her an example of someone who saw a need and was bold enough to try to help.
Shortly after, we met him and his wife, Lisa, to donate matresses. One thing was clear, those 2 are a force and some of the most generous people we have ever met. They turned around and donated items to support K'ing the Cold and have continued to support K'ing the Cold, its mission, and Reagan ever since. They recently built their last beds as the leaders of the KC SE chapter, having built an amzing chapter serving over 4,200 kids in 8.5 years!
Scott & Lisa, thank you for your investment and impact to our community and thank you for taking the time to invest in Reagan. Wishing you the absolute best in your next chapter!
