That's a wrap on the first-ever Cycling KC Tour of BBQ — and Kansas City, it was FIRE.

Rain in the forecast? Didn't matter. You showed up, you rolled, and you turned five barbecue stops and two routes into one unforgettable Saturday.

Thank you doesn't quite cover it, but here goes:

To our five incredible BBQ stops — Woodyard Bar-B-Que, Brobeck's Barbeque, Rosedale Bar-B-Q, Fiorella's Jack Stack, and Hawg Jaw Que & Brew — thank you for feeding our riders like family. You ARE this ride.

To the Cycling KC board — for the months of planning, the late nights, and the belief that KC would show up for something brand new.

To our Ride Marshals from KC Bike Law — thank you for keeping everyone safe out there on wet roads.

To our members and volunteers — you're the engine that makes all of this run.

And to every single registrant who rolled out with us — YOU made the inaugural Tour of BBQ what it was.

This was year one. It was fire. And it's only going to get bigger.

Smoke's up — it's ride day.

A little rain never put out our fire, and today's no different: the Tour of BBQ rolls rain or shine. The pits are lit, the crew's ready, and there are five Kansas City barbecue stops waiting between the start line and the finish.

This morning:
• Check-in begins at 9 AM — Velo Garage & Tap House, North Kansas City (no packet pickup — just roll in)
• Roll-out at 10 AM

Your stops:
1. Woodyard Bar-B-Que
2. Brobeck's Barbeque (Full Slab route only)
3. Rosedale Bar-B-Q
4. Fiorella's Jack Stack
5. Hawg Jaw Que & Brew

Roads will be wet — ride smart, leave room to brake, light up, and look out for each other out there. Huge thanks to our Ride Marshals from KC Bike Law running SAG all day.
