🦜🚂🦜Birds of a feather DEFINITELY ride the miniature train together! 🦜🚂🦜 And it was FLOCKING E-PECK too!

🗣📣ALL A-BIRD! Don't let this recap of our Fantastic Feathers Fest with Beak N Wings, inc. fly right on by! Park your tail feathers & enjoy our nest egg of parrot pics, silly tricks, cheep thrills & macaw memories.

The day was im-peck-able & it gave us our first glimpses of migration weather. The volunteers with Beak N Wings, Inc. Bird rescue showed up & showed out with not one or two birds but at least
SIX! They left no crumbs! 💅

🐾 Even our little mascot, Annie, was interested in meeting these new feathered friends. (Although we're not entirely sure if it was purely friendship motivated or if she had some 'other' thoughts.) One thing is certain, she's German & she was definitely trying to Sprechen Sie Squawk. 😂🥁

All jokes & shameless puns aside, our event planning pro, Dean, has been knocking our activities (and attendance!) out of the park all season!
From record numbers of vehicles AND attendees at 🚛 Truck & 🚂 Train Day last May, to giant ⚽️soccer balls⚽️ welcoming World Cup fans to the train in June, to events like REAL PARROTS RIDING THE TRAIN!! 😲🦜 C'mon! You gotta admit that's pretty flocking cool! 💯

Being a dedicated, networking, trail blazer, especially at a 30+ yr old organization is NOT an easy feat! 💪🏼👏👏👏 And we still have a month to go! 🫣 So, if you see Dean, be sure to tell him what event you enjoyed most this year & join us in giving him some 🦅 high-flyin' - flyin' high - high fives for a job (completely unpaid, I might add) very well done! 🫶

📢HELP!
Razcal, Ryot and Rukus have gone MISSING!

We are hopful they just found a nearby trash can to raid and would be OVER THE MOON if our boys could find their way back! They were really missed by our riders tonight and bring so much joy to the kids on the train.

Unfortunately, because they're wild, they don't have collars so if they happened to find their way to your house & you just weren't sure where to return them, we'd love your help in getting them back home - no questions asked!

We just want our mischievous trio back & bringing smiles to all of our friends on the train again. We promise all the imaginary trash they can eat!

If you have any info about Razcal, Ryot & Rukus please call 816-746-5663 or message us on FB.

One of the most endearing qualities of our miniature train is its ability to transcend our differences and unite us in the same shared experience.

That mile-long train ride, may not seem like a big deal but we believe it's truly an exceptional experience. For just a moment it suspends differences in age, gender, nationality, religion, political affiliations, uniting everyone in a shared celebration of joy and excitement.

Whether you're 5 years fun like Roane who visited us all the way from Kentucky with her stylish shades or 95 years young, like our friend Francesco, and the lively crew he came with - during that 10-minute journey, every rider gets to experience what it's like to be on an adventure together. From reveling in the joy of the journey and eagerly anticipating the next turn, to collectively experiencing the excitement echoing through the tunnel. We all get to feel that nostalgic child-like thrill again. And we think that's something special.

Hey friends! 👋 We need your help! Unfortunately some of our military trucks aren't able to make it to our event and we'd like to fill that void. If you or anyone you know has a military jeep, hummer, ambulance, motorcycle, tank, amphibious ship, an Oshkosh Striker or Black Hawk laying around 😅 we'd love to chat!
Any year, any condition. Running or trailered.
