Youth RISE - Jaguars

Youth RISE - Jaguars Empowering youth and teaching life lessons through mentorship, education, and sport. Our coaches operate on a volunteer basis.

Youth RISE KC is a non-profit youth soccer organization that aims to reach at risk youth and provide the opportunities that they may not otherwise have afforded to them due to their socioeconomic status and other factors that hinder them from succeeding. We strive to develop our players to compete at a premier level of play while keeping a focus on one's education at all times. The club was found

ed in January 2012 with the formation of a U14 boys team that consists of inner city youth from the Kansas City area with the drive to grow on and off the field. In June 2012 we will began the formation of both a U15 boys premier select teams starting with tryouts. Our coaching staff have experience in English and Spanish languages allowing our teams to have a greater range of diversity and opportunities for all prospective players. Recently the club has partnered with the Police Athletic League of Kansas City who also strive to reach youth in high crime areas of the city in efforts to better our community. Our mission is to train and coach our players so that they develop the skill and tools they need in order to compete at a higher level of soccer and academics. With the emphasis of teamwork, dedication, and leadership, we encourage our players to be role models in the community and look forward to playing at the college level. Our coaches and managers are committed to pulling as many resources as possible to aid players in finding a college or university that they will succeed in both academically and athletically.

Congrats to our Jaguars boys who went undefeated at the Missouri Youth Soccer Association Presidents Cup this weekend in St Louis, taking the top seed in their group and advancing to Semi Finals on April 11th.

Donations are needed to support costs for food, fuel, and travel expenses as the boys continue along their road toward the Championship!
