Psalm 104:24-25 “O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures.
Here is the ocean, vast and wide, teeming with life of every kind, both large and small.”

Pet Blessing Sunday at The Salvation Army KCK Citadel reminds us that God is creative, assigns us to be good stewards of creation, and that He is always present in times of trouble (and joy).

Creator God,

We thank You for our pets. They are Your creation and beloved companions.

Thank You for the joy, comfort, laughter, and companionship that our pets brings to our households.

Bless each animal with health, safety, and peaceful days.

And bless those who care for a pet. Give them patience, wisdom, gentleness, and compassion.

May the relationship be a reminder of Your goodness and may the love shared reflect something of the love You have shown us.

We give You thanks for the gift of pets.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Praying for the family of Tony Fishback as they remember the impact his life has had on our community. Tony was our piano instructor and gave selflessly to his students. Rest in heaven, Mr. Tony. Well done!
