We have a few important updates regarding our Service Day projects.

Due to scheduling challenges, we are cancelling the Camp Valor project for June 6th. If you were signed up for Camp Valor, I’ll be reaching out directly to see where you’d like to move.

Our biggest needs right now are:

• Sleep in Heavenly Peace — You won’t just be building beds; you’ll be giving a child their first real place to sleep. You will assemble and deliver beds directly into homes, often with the kids helping and beaming with excitement. For many of these children, this is the moment they finally have comfort, stability, and a safe place to rest their head.

• Restart — We will be painting and deep cleaning to prepare rooms for families transitioning out of homelessness. The work we do here directly affects how quickly families can move into safe, stable housing.

• Harvesters – Afternoon Shift — Volunteers will be filling food boxes that go directly to individuals and families in need across our region.

• Signups remain open until 6/5 for anyone still wanting to join us.
• To receive the Service Day T‑shirt, the deadline to sign up is tomorrow, 5/17.

Summer is more than a break from school. It’s an opportunity to build character, confidence, leadership, and lifelong memories.

Will they be:

🏀 Playing sports and staying active?

📚 Reading books and learning new skills?

🔬 Exploring STEM, robotics, and technology?

💰 Learning entrepreneurship and financial literacy?

🏕️ Enjoying outdoor adventures and camping?

🤝 Serving their communities through volunteer work?

👔 Developing leadership skills and preparing for their future?

At Sons of Hiram, we believe our youth are not just the future—they are leaders in training today. Every positive experience helps shape the men they will become tomorrow.

This summer, challenge a young man to:

✅ Learn a new skill

✅ Serve someone in need

✅ Stay physically active

✅ Set goals and work toward them

✅ Become a leader among his peers

Today, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As young men learning the values of leadership, respect, service, and brotherhood, the Sons of Hiram salute all those who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We also thank all veterans, military families, and community heroes for their continued sacrifice and commitment to this nation.

May this Memorial Day be filled with reflection, gratitude, peace, and love as we remember those who paid the ultimate price.

🕊️ To the Sons of Hiram, the Lodge of Sorrow means more than just a ceremony… it is a lesson in legacy, respect, brotherhood, and remembrance.

It teaches our young men that true leadership is not measured only by titles, but by the lives we touch, the service we give, and the example we leave behind. During the Lodge of Sorrow, we honor the Brothers and Sisters who labored before us and helped build the foundation we now stand on.

The Sons of Hiram learn that one day our names and actions will also become part of history. Therefore, we must live with purpose, serve with love, lead with integrity, and uplift our communities while we still have time.

The Lodge of Sorrow reminds us:
🕯️ Respect your elders
🕯️ Honor those who came before you
🕯️ Build a legacy worth remembering
🕯️ Leave the world better than you found it

Though our loved ones may be gone from our sight, their wisdom, teachings, and spirit continue to guide us every day.
