We are always working on getting our story out there and also looking for a hand to do so. Our friend Braden, who is from Springfield, but loves to come visit the park, offered to put together some social media posts telling our story. Thanks ! Check out his work and feel free to share.

Happy birthday to us! Come celebrate with us tonight at Escapist Skateboarding and tomorrow to session the park!

There have been a lot of questions regarding the signs put up by The Housing Authority of Kansas City recently . As far as we know there is no change to the current situation of the park and there is no immediate impending decision affecting the park. Our website, https://www.harrisonstreetdiy.com/ , has more information on the current state of the park.

It was communicated to us that the signs are to address trash, encampments, and general defacement of the land surrounding the park that the Housing Authority owns. So as always, please be respectful of the space and neighborhood!

Harrison Street Park is a community built skatepark in Kansas City, Missouri and one of the biggest DIY skateparks in the states .It is at risk of being demolished to make way for new development
